Stanley - the south city on Hong Kong island

Take bus Nr. 6 to Stanley and enjoy the mountain
scenery and a day on the Riviera!

If you are lucky, you can be interviewed by pupils
 for the school project!

Enjoying the morning sun on the "private beach":-)

Lodge on the beach....mmmmm

Entrance to the Mansion at "Surfers beach"

Mansion from the side

Water was ok... like at home
in the summer:-)

Season is starting in a month, but for playing in sand is it nice.

The blue house - the oldest in HK. What happend
to the grey part of it I don't know:-)

At the rooftop bar "Wooloo Mooloo":-)
If somebody knows the explanation to this name,
 please write to me!

To be continued...

The Peak and Cheung Chau island

Sunday in Central HK is completly different -
maids from the Philipines have their free day
and take over the City.

To come up to the Peak is a must in HK and
it's worth it!

Greetings to everybody from above!!!

The tram ride up is really adventureous:-)

Making a boat trip to the Cheung Chau island
is like moving back in time...
A cat and  dried fish - really nice:-)

For some peaceful Mediterranean view,  you need
to climb up - to a cemetary...

to get some medical help - you need to take a helicopter.

Enjoy your day on the beach !

On the way back to Hong Kong island

Enjoying the sunset on upper deck

A wonderful scenery!

Take a slow boat at 5 to enjoy the sunset ...

Thanks for concerning about our health!

Mysterious Hong Kong

Room with a view and huge TV on the 30th floor!

Evening drink in the hotel lounge on the 3rd floor -
who has the best view?

Hennesey road with it's famous trams

My sweet pink house in the Wanchai area:-)

on our way to the harbour ferry

a view from the Star ferry

HK island in a veil of mystery

and some luxury too...

so we have some things to think about

and maybe to argue about?!

I found new friends:-)

A glimpse of  Happy Valley

and of the Causeway bay area

nice advertisement...

on a tram ride

noodle soup break

Can you read the signs?

...and a view from the bathroom window...

Cool Hanoi

The square in front of St Joseph´s Cathedral, in the Old Quarters,
becomes a waiting place for parents in the afternoon.

What fruit is that? The fruit for Gods.

In the temple - you make a wish
 by making an offering;

even a caligrapfer can help you fulfill your wishes;

it seems like first month of the new lunar year is
very much about wishing luck and happiness for the whole year.

Nice bridge to get to the famous "turtle" temple.

Lemon juice break

It isn't a ship - it's a house of cafés :-)

Pavements are used as a parking place during day
 - you have to walk on the street...

Hoan Kiem lake

We are still not sure, if it was the REAL caf'é,
so we went to another one

some meditation time?

a real street café

the  smallest shop?

class after class leaving the school for the day

Vietnamese coffee house, where you can drink coffee and tea,
but nothing more.

Morning Tai chi...

Fun to take pictures
