Preparations for Vietnamese New Year

Yes, it is not easy to comunicate with Vietnamese... as we understood and
from what we see  - is it important to plant some new flowers
 for the feast, as big as you can afford and preferably yellow?!

a new calander is a must... babies are on the top list?!

Streets get new flags

for the home you buy some new big furniture

or at least a fruit tree.

Decorations and cards are must-to-have!

Not only we think that everything is interesting,
a local journalist got great shots too!

Statues must be painted

and a lot of lights hung out too.

Boats can take it easy,

and some others too...

Time for chess and a cigg

If you can not carry, you can always use a bicycle,
or now mostly motorbikes to transport matresses
or even a refrigerator. No problem, have seen a few.

If you still have some time left you can go to the Pagoda,

or ask a nice sales lady to pack a present for a family or friends

Presents should be very big or very expensive,
but best if they are both!
